It was 72 degrees here (smashed previous records) so I washed my car for the first time in 1.3k miles.
So much better :D

Is the stripe red or pink? I've always wondered. Also, have you ever considered peeling the dip on the badge so it doesn't look like an empty black circle?

Red, and I'm actually going to eventually get around to stenciling out and painting on a red Buick emblem there.
But I'm also lazy, so there's that.

I rarely see those self service car wash thingies anymore.

So dirty it's matte.

That's the "After" picture.
The reason it's matte is because it's matte.
The car is painted matte black.

Looking good! Every time I see pictures of your car, I feel the urge to browse local listings for a used LeSabre. Seriously, I like the tasteful, aggressive changes you made to that buttoned-up old Buick. Well done.

Thanks! It's certainly a polarizing machine, very much a case of "you get it or you don't"
Though the naysayers are usually "you could have bought a better car for what you spent on that" but I've spent less than $800 on mods, which usually shuts them up.
